Welcome to Bar Blitz Platform

Bar Blitz Platform is a chess tournament platform built for bars, cafés and clubs. It handles everything from player registration to Elo ratings, pairings and results. So you can focus on playing and hosting great chess events.

User Roles

There are three main roles on Bar Blitz. Each role unlocks different features and capabilities.

Players

  • Create and manage your profile
  • Register for tournaments
  • Track your Elo ratings
  • View match history and statistics

Hosts

  • Create and manage tournaments
  • Set up venues and schedules
  • Run pairings and enter results
  • Export TRF files

Organisations

  • Manage your organisation
  • Oversee multiple venues and hosts
  • Handle FIDE/KNSB/USCF compliance
  • Access analytics and reporting

Quick Start

For Players

  1. Create an account or sign in with Google
  2. Complete your profile (name, city, optional FIDE ID)
  3. Browse upcoming tournaments and register
  4. Show up, play, and track your results

For Hosts

  1. Create or join an organisation
  2. Add a venue (bar, café or club)
  3. Create your first tournament
  4. Manage pairings, enter results and publish standings

For Organisations

  1. Set up your organisation profile
  2. Invite hosts and assign roles
  3. Configure FIDE/KNSB compliance settings
  4. Monitor tournaments across all your venues
